The Development of my Music Video
In my first production I was very far from the idea I am at now.

I had planned to go into the city, London, with some friends, and basically film the whole day out. The idea was to film us doing silly things, like getting on top of the Trafalgar Square Lions, running up down escalators. BUT due to the fact that myself and my friends found that we were all busy on the day we had planned to film the music video, I had to scrap that idea! :(
Then my idea was to film random people in and around London or Romford. I began to develop this idea because the song I am using for the video is called "Feelin' Good" and so I thought that I could film people having a good time and feeling good! I developed this idea from Pharrell Williams' "Happy" music video, because in the video those who are in it are extremely happy and they are dancing in the street. BUT I soon found that people in the streets of London and Romford where not very co-operative, despite the very helpful contributions from some of the public, I did find the footage that I had compiled was not enough. Therefore I had to scrap that idea! :(I began to put together a new idea, that consisted of a story, which was very different to my other, previous, ideas. The music video was going to show the development of a young girl, the protagonist, who felt she wasn't happy with her life, but soon learns that it isn't all that bad. At the start of the music video, we would see how the protagonist is packing a bag, and appears to be upset or angry with someone, and we see how she throws away some photographs, of who we can guess is the person that has annoyed her. In a sense I was hoping the story would start out sad and unhappy for the girl, and the end result would be a pretty good video. But again, I found this idea was to hard to shoot, as the public were enjoying the thought of ruining my shots! And again, I had to scrap that idea! :(
AND FINALLY...
I have began filming an entirely new idea. It is a very simple idea, which could get me high grades if I edit well! The idea is that that the protagonist sings the song, in lots of different outfits, in all different locations. So fingers crossed my video is successful!
(Wish me luck !! (: )
